Albanese is a confectionery manufacturer, retailer, and distributor. For more than 40 years, we’ve made the World’s Best Gummies and Chocolates in the United States by using our simple recipe for success: putting flavor and texture first, always finding a better way, and never taking ourselves too seriously.
Our gummies and chocolates taste different because we’re different. All of our gummies, chocolates, and nuts are made at our factory located in the heart of the Midwest. We only produce the highest quality ingredients sourced exclusively from American and European growers. We’re best known for our 12 Flavor Gummi Bears®, but we have lots of fan favorites. If you like sour, our sour options that start sour, and stay sour, will surely make you pucker up! We appreciate our sugar-free and natural gummi fanatics too – we even mastered the Ultimate™ 8 Flavor Gummi Bears™ that elevate the tasting experience!

Albanese: A World's Best Tale
1998 - Don't Tell us it Can't be Done! Albanese invents a new technology to allow for greater flavor release from gelatins.
2001 - Pucker Up! Albanese breakthrough allows for sour to be added to the inside of a gummi. The slogan "Starts Sour, Stays Sour" launches for all sour gummi lovers.
2002 - The Winner is... Albanese wins the Professional Candy Buyer's Product of the Year award recognizing us for innovation in gummi candies.
2003 - Classic! Brought back the almost lost of art of rotogravure printing for use on all our packaging.
2003 - Attention! Albanese Gummi Army Guys win Product of the Year
2006 - Cheers! Nominated again for the Product of Year in the non-chocolate category.
2006 - More Wins! Received the prestigious Technology Award for developing process of placing Omega 3 Fish Oil into a gummi.
2007 - First & Finest! Albanese develops the first probiotic gummi to ever be made, beginning the journey to becoming a large scale, private-label Gummi Nutra Producer.
2008 - We Have Great Sportsmanship! Once again nominated for Product of the Year in the non-chocolate category. We may be the most nominated company!
2011 - Approved! Received approval by the FDA for a Vegetable/Fruit snack for the school lunch program, exceeding the most demanding State requirements.
2011 - You're Too Kind! Albanese is awarded the Buyer’s Choice – Best new Concept Award in the New Product Showcase at the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago for Gummi Awesome Blossoms.
2012 - Ice Cream and Chill! Developed the first ever gummi that does not freeze in ice cream.
2014 - Ready For Lift Off! Albanese launches the World’s Best brand, which includes a wide variety of innovative gummi sizes, shapes, and flavors.
2014 - Super Supplement! Albanese wins the Best of Supplements Award.
2015 - Getting Nutty! Innovation Most Innovative New Product Award winner for our World's Best Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Peanuts.
2016 - Chilling Out! Launched an Albanese flavored slushy.
2017 - Two Steps! Ahead Nominated for Most Innovative New Product Award for Sherbet Gummi Bears.
2019 - Spooky Sweet! Halloween got a lot sweeter with the launch of our first seasonal Multipack.
2020 - Patience Pays Off! Nearly a decade in the making, Albanese launches the Ultimate™ 8 Flavor Gummi Bears™.
